Replacement of two 132 kW fans with new ones with improved efficiency

Solution

Our sales engineer spotted that the problem was not in the fan itself, but in the inlets, which consisted of inlet boxes that looked exactly like the one in the photo from the outside, but inside there were no baffles.

The guide plates and bends were CFD calculated and designed according to the customer's needs. 

After installation, the result of the measurements on fan no. 1 was a power saving of 30 kW per hour. That's a saving of 21,600 kWh per month or over 250,000 kWh per year.
